The Human Resources Department is committed to attracting, retaining and supporting a qualified diverse staff in order to meet the educational needs of the students. The department affirms its commitment to ensuring that all employment and employment-related decisions are based on the principles of equal employment opportunity.

The Human Resources staff aspires to provide ongoing quality customer service to District employees and applicants in all personnel-related matters during and prior to their tenure at Long Beach Community College District (LBCCD). Furthermore, Human Resources is dedicated to the effective and efficient use of each individual's talent to accomplish LBCCD's goals.
